Looking for an Evaluation Consultant

CES is a woman-owned firm based just outside of Atlanta in Alpharetta, Georgia. Founded in 2004, we provide program development and evaluation services throughout Georgia and the United States. We work with nonprofit organizations and public health agencies in many areas including substance abuse prevention, education, after-school programs, violence prevention, and public health among others. We use a participatory approach and see our clients as essential partners.

CES, Inc, is seeking an energetic and expert professional to provide evaluation consulting services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in program evaluation using a multi-method approach in nonprofit settings and state/federally funded programs. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in mental health, substance abuse, education, child welfare, and public health. Quantitative experience is required. Hours will vary depending on project load. The position reports to the President of CES.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Serve as an integral part of a project team designing and implementing program evaluations.
  • Ability to understand the needs and challenges facing the client.
  • Responsible for conducting interviews, focus groups and workshops.
  • Responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Responsible for developing and administering online surveys.
  • Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Managing projects to ensure all work is completed on time, on budget, and client expectations are exceeded.
  • Completing other duties as assigned.

The Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • High level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative (SPSS preferred) and qualitative software (MAX-QDA, Atlas-TI etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in creating dashboards using Tableau, Excel or other software.
  • Excellent analytical skills; keen insight for solving problems with relevant, cost effective solutions.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple project simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Active listener with ability to understand client needs; encourage and recognize diverse values and perspectives.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Requires minimal supervision.
