Partnership Against Domestic Violence

Community Issue

The Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) is the largest nonprofit domestic violence organization in Georgia providing professional, compassionate, and empowering support to battered women and their children in metro Atlanta. The mission of PADV is to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors. PADV needed to assess their organizational and programmatic goals as defined by its strategic plan.

Evaluation Solution

CES assisted PADV in determining baseline numbers in key program areas, assessed the strengths and weaknesses of their data collection and storage methods, and made recommendations on measure development/revision. Working collaboratively with PADV, CES developed and actionable evaluation plan, a theory of change and logic model, process map, and a measurement model that included linkages to its strategic plan. In the future, we will work with PADV to build and strengthen their internal evaluation capacity.

CES’ evaluation plan and measurement model identified which goals were not being addressed by current measures and data collection methods.  By streamlining and strengthening their data collection efforts, PADV staff and leadership are better able to focus on the needs of their clients and meeting their mission.

Client Testimonial

“Ann Price and her team were great to work with.  They were responsive, proactive and made sure we kept on track with our work.  They provided the framework to help us more clearly look at our goals, outcomes, what we were measuring and what we weren’t.”
